Teams

Board of Directors

The Board oversees the Alliance’s operations and finances, including the approval of the annual budget, governance of new initiatives and ongoing programs, and review of contracts and savings. Additionally, the Board reviews the ongoing activities of all active CCHA project teams, providing direction as needed.

Chief Financial Officers

This team is the financial advisory team for Alliance programs and initiatives. It oversees the Alliance’s finances and ascertains the viability of financially related concerns.  The team reviews current initiatives and will conduct an ongoing review of Alliance contracts.

Chief Information Officers / IS Directors

This team evaluates and plans for innovation in healthcare IT. The group routinely shares best practices to ensure all CCHA hospitals meet regulatory requirements related to data exchange and meaningful use. This team also advises the CCHIE Board on strategic decisions and planning for the health information exchange.

Chief Nursing Officers / Operations

Initially separate teams, they were combined to focus on improving patient outcomes, providing governance and strategic vision for CCHA programs, enhancing processes and efficiencies, and identifying contract opportunities through economies of scale for supplies, products, and services that support hospital operations.

Diabetes Educators

This team was established to collectively share and network with the common goal of improving (pre)diabetes education/outreach, identifying unique education opportunities/collaborations, and securing group contracts and/or grant funding to support savings/initiatives as identified.

Education Directors

This team collectively shares and networks with the common goals to improve education to support nursing standards and practices within member hospitals, work with and guide the Mobile Simulation Program, identify unique education opportunities/collaborations, and secure group contracts to support savings.

Lab Directors

This team explores clinical and therapeutic opportunities through economies of scale. Such exploration includes lab related products and services which ultimately support hospital lab operations, efficiencies and overall cost savings while not impacting quality. The group routinely shares best practices related to regulatory requirements.

Materials Management Directors

This team explores cost, distribution, and efficiency opportunities through economies of scale, including hospital supplies, physician preference items, and purchased services which ultimately support hospital supply chain operations. The group will routinely identify best practices and policies/procedures related to regulatory requirements.

Pharmacy Directors

This team explores clinical and therapeutic opportunities through economies of scale, including pharmacy related products and services which ultimately support hospital pharmacy operations. The group routinely shares best practices and policies / procedures related to regulatory requirements.

Physician Recruiters

This team shares and network with the common goal to recruit quality physicians to our CCHA hospitals. This team is responsible for the planning and execution of the annual Residents Reception. This team also works together to identify potential ways to save money when recruiting physicians to our area.
